On April 29th at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome, the tradition, innovation and musical heritage of Pino Daniele and his unmistakable “Neapolitanness” will give life to a unique show entitled “Senza ‘e te”. A show in which his songs, which have told the story of Naples between melancholy and vitality, will be proposed to the public by the “Musicanti Ensamble”, a group that will pay homage to the artist 10 years after his death.
It is worth remembering that Pino Daniele, unique and brilliant in his musical genre, represented a true revolution for the city of Naples by inventing new sounds and languages, ranging from blues to jazz without ever being a stereotype, continually renewing his musical panorama.
In this special evening, which we recommend not to miss, all the spirit and magic present in his songs will come to life with many songs that have been able to capture the essence of Naples and a large audience, with the simplicity of his lyrics and the creativity of his music.
The music of the show will be accompanied on the piano by the talent of Elisabetta Serio, who is also the artistic co-director and by Fabio Massimo Colasanti on the guitar. In addition, an extraordinary guest will join the musical rhythm, Tony Esposito with his percussions that will guarantee an even more overwhelming show.
You will listen not only to Pino Daniele’s music but also to his thoughts, his passion for Naples and his artistic ability. His songs that also tell stories of the disadvantaged suburbs, have found a unique voice with Pino Daniele. Other songs are dedicated to stories of love and joy that lead us to explore the most intimate side of the artist and his “Naples underground”.
A unique evening that is nothing more than a heartfelt dedication to one of the most important artists in the history of Italian music, a way to remember him music, not only Italian. https://www.teatroolimpico.it/evento/musicanti-senza-e-te/
